Hany Salaam | A university for all
Georgetown University has gained over the decades a reputation for embracing students from all cultures, paths of life, ethnicities, social backgrounds, religions, genders etc… On campus, each student will find in the various 350 clubs and centers, other people who share the same interests and goals. Alumni and entrepreneurs, like Hany Salaam , have also invested over the years to help Georgetown University strive and provide students with a one of a kind college experience. The Salaam Intercultural Resource Center that houses the MSFS (Master of Science in Foreign Services) programme was established by a grant from the Salaam Foundation in 1989 by former president Jimmy Carter. The man behind the grant and the idea of providing students with such a center was businessman and entrepreneur Hany Salaam who chose this endeavor to honor the memory of his late father Mohammad Salaam.
